Recovery Night

July 9, 2013

At this month's Recovery Night, The Emily Program will host Hallie and Jelena.

Hallie will share how her journey through recovery has shaped her life, in both painful and wonderful ways. She will discuss the process of accepting the loss and grief that came with losing much of her life to her eating disorder. Through her recovery, she transformed that grief into hope and gratitude for the opportunity to discover her authentic self.

Jelena has been in recovery from anorexia for eight years. She will talk about the recovery as a process, from the resentment to appreciation. For Jelena recovery is a process that might not have an end, but one that always has a next step in getting better. And for her that's the beauty of it-that there is always a next step. Jelena will also talk about what happens when anorexia stops being you and your identity, and she will share some of her strategies that help her appreciate her accomplishments and stay in the recovery.

Date: July 9

Time: 6:30-8:00PM
2265 Como Ave, lower level, St. Paul, MN 55108

Recovery Night is a night of inspiration and hope, and occurs the 2nd Tuesday of every month. This is a free event that is open to the community.

Celebrating Spokane
On June 25, The Emily Program Spokane held an open house
for professionals and community members in the area.
The event was a major success and our Spokane team welcomed and introduced our 150 guests to The Emily Program. TEP's senior executive team, Dirk Miller, TEP Founder and Executive Director, Dr. Jillian Lampert, Senior Director of Business & Community Development, and Lindsay Drebenstedt, Senior Director of Business Operations, were on hand for the exciting festivities and greatly enjoyed meeting members of the Spokane community. Guests toured the new spaces, met our wonderful Spokane team and learned more about The Emily Program and the various services we will be offering to the community.

Improving Client Experience
Clients are our priority. We are diligent in making sure that each and every client receives the best care we can provide.

Looking forward, we wanted to find a way to enhance the service and care we provide clients. To this avail, we have established a wonderful team of professionals -- our Client Service Team (CST).

We believe this team will offer our clients the best care and service. Our Client Service Specialists (CSS) will be available for questions and to help guide clients. Some areas they'll offer help include:
  • insurance coverage & benefit questions
  • account information & questions
  • obtaining authorizations for services
  • and much more ...
No matter where a client is in their treatment, they can always call their CSS with questions.
More communication about the CST will be provided to clients over the coming weeks.

About Anxiety In Teens:

Anxiety In Teens was founded by an Eden Prairie teenager in 2006, Solome Tibebu. When she was in middle school and high school, she suffered from a severe anxiety disorder. While at a summer camp, Solome was searching for an online resource to help her in her time of need while she was remote. She was surprised to find that there was no such resource that could provide the refuge or community she was seeking, so she took out a notebook and started drafting the beginnings of what would be
