Professional Relations Specialist, Eastern Region
Katie began working at the front desk of the Cleveland Center for Eating Disorders (CCED) more than ten years ago, which provided a unique opportunity to observe both the clinical and business sides of eating disorder treatment. When CCED merged with The Emily Program, she was able to seamlessly transition to an outreach role. Katie graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Consumer Affairs. As a Professional Relations Specialist, Katie uses her experience and education to connect with professionals, community members, and other treatment facilities to provide awareness and information on the treatment of eating disorders.
Professional Relations Specialist, Midwest Region
Kristin graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a degree in Healthcare Administration. Since then, Kristin has worked in the healthcare field and has developed a passion for building relationships, advocating for mental health and connecting people with the right resources. Kristin has a background in community outreach and uses her experience to bring awareness to the continuum of care for treating eating disorders.
Professional Relations Specialist, Northwest Region
Shannon believes clients should always be top priority. This belief brought her to The Emily Program, where she helps healthcare providers gain access to individualized eating disorder treatment for their clients. Her past experience in pain management helped form her passion for serving a unique population and educating in areas of wellness that are less visible. A graduate of the University of Washington, Shannon uses her passion to connect with members of the community, both inside and outside the healthcare world, to raise awareness of eating disorders and the resources available locally and nationally at The Emily Program.
Outreach Manager/Midwest Region
Laura graduated from The University of Minnesota-Duluth with a degree in Healthcare Management. Laura has devoted her career to understanding the healthcare system as a whole while building trusted relationships along the way. Having spent her career solely in the mental health field, she has a passion for starting conversations about eating disorders and reducing stigma around mental health. As Outreach Manager, Laura connects with health systems and providers to gain valuable perspective about caring for people struggling with eating disorders and to provide information about The Emily Program's established services.
Clinical Outreach Specialist
Hilmar Wagner is a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) and Licensed Dietitian in the state of Minnesota. Hilmar joined the Emily Program in 2006, he currently serves as the Training Coordinator for Nutrition Services and Clinical Outreach Specialist. Hilmar initiates and coordinates training of new dietetic staff, dietetic interns and continuing education for nutrition services for all Emily Program locations. He has presented on a wide range of nutrition topics at local, regional and national conferences. Hilmar received his Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics and Master’s Public Health Nutrition from the University of Minnesota. He has worked in the field of eating disorders for the past 12 years. Hilmar has extensive experience working with clients of all eating disorder diagnosis in both individual and group settings and has a particular interest in mindfulness and body-centered approaches to eating disorder recovery.
Dani graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a degree in Marketing and Communications. She has worked for The Emily Program since 2013. As Outreach Coordinator, Dani connects with providers and members of the community to raise awareness for eating disorders and to help clients access the care they need.
