Recovery Night this Thursday in Minnesota!
Recovery is possible and it happens in multiple ways. Come see for yourself. We enjoy hearing former clients, community members, and even our peers talk about their journey to recovery from an eating disorder. Gathering together as a community provides another level of support. It provides a forum that is safe, inspiring, and powerful.
The Emily Program-St. Louis Park is hosting a Recovery Night on Thursday, February 2nd at 6:30 p.m.
The speaker will be Lee Wolfe Blum, an expert in the field of eating disorders with nine years of work as a Mental Health Practitioner who is also breaking free from her own life threatening eating disorder in her twenties.
Lee is also an author and energetic passionate speaker who loves to help patients find hope and healing from perfectionism and addictions. Her first book was Table in the Darkness - A Healing Journey through and Eating Disorder and her second, Brave Is the New Beautiful - Courage To Be the Real You releases March 1st. (but is available for pre-sale on Amazon). She lives in Minnesota with her husband and three boys in what she calls "The Frat House." Lee's book, Table in the Darkness, will be for sale at the event.
Bring your friends, family, and support community and get inspired. No reservations are necessary. Location is 5354 Parkdale Drive, St. Louis Park, MN, 55416, Rm. 240. Contact Anna Barlage, 651-645-5323 ext. 1406, with any questions about the event.
