The Emily Program is here to help clients struggling with eating disorders, wherever they are from. We provide lodging options in Minnesota and Washington for adult women over 18 who require a higher level of care, but live a long distance from treatment. Our bodies require a combination of nutrients for optimal health and wellness. Sometimes it's helpful to refresh our knowledge base with some basic nutritional facts. Since everyone's needs can vary, you can work with your registered dietitian to determine your unique needs.
At The Emily Program we’re committed to:
- providing the best eating disorder treatment to our clients and families,
- improving and growing the programs and services we offer,
- staying current within the eating disorders, mental health, and healthcare fields,
- learning more about and adjusting our research-based practices to fit client needs as well as sharing our lessons and knowledge with other professionals.
We have an incredible amount of useful and exciting information to share about all of these things.

I co-taught a day long conference at the Gestalt Institute a few weeks ago on eating disorders, the science behind them, when to refer, and when to treat. It's a topic that forms the core of the work we do and is very dear to my heart. The participants at the conference were a terrific group.
Eating disorders commonly present with other issues -- anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress, to name a few. Over the past few years we've been working with more and more individuals who struggle with an eating disorder and substance use.
Connecting with other professionals is a great way to expand your network and learn more about other areas within the mental health field. If you live near the Spokane, WA area please consider joining us for these events.
