Intensive Day Programs/Partial Hospitalization Program

Our Intensive Day Programs (IDP)/Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provide the highest level of comprehensive outpatient eating disorder treatment, support, and structure for people with any eating disorder diagnosis -- anorexia, bulimia, compulsive overeating, binge-eating disorder, or eating disorder not otherwise specified (EDNOS). IDP/PHP can help prevent the need for inpatient hospitalization, which can be costly and disrupt everyday life.

We meet from six to eight hours per day, five to six days per week, to address psychological, nutritional and medical needs in a comfortable setting conducive to recovery. In IDP/PHP, we help you overcome obstacles to recovery, gain new and healthier coping skills, and achieve your individual treatment goals.

IDP/PHP’s longer treatment day allows for more successful symptom interruption, more frequent intensive group therapy, and greater involvement of your family, friends, and other loved ones. IDP/PHP clients also see an individual therapist and registered dietitian weekly, and a physician as needed.

We also work with community professionals—including physicians, therapists, and dietitians—to ensure appropriate aftercare.

For adult women traveling from longer distances, we have lodging accomodations available near our St. Paul and St. Louis Park offices.

For more information contact our Lodging Manager at (651) 315-3302.
