How It Works At The Emily Program
An eating disorder assessment helps guide your journey to recovery
After you contact us, one of our experienced admissions team members explains our services, gathers personal and insurance information, and schedules initial appointments for your eating disorder assessment. As part of your assessment, we’ll get together to learn more about you. We ask you to complete a series of questionnaires to help us understand you as an individual and what you’re experiencing.
Together, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan
One of our intake psychologists will explain the results from your intake tests and recommend the right services for you at The Emily Program. If you’re ready to move forward, we’ll make appointments for you to meet with a therapist, a dietitian, and other staff members on your treatment team. Remember, completing an intake does not commit you to any additional treatment. It’s a simple, non-threatening way to learn more about leading a healthy, full life. We’re glad to share what we know with you.
We provide you with a full continuum of care
After you complete your intake appointment at The Emily Program, you'll have access to the Office Manager at your service location who will be your primary resource and support for all care needs and questions. Your individual therapist will be your ‘go to’ person for ongoing therapy support and will guide your treatment path, whether it is joining a group, adding yoga to your therapy, or making other recommendations.
