Spokane Recovery Night is August 10
At The Emily Program we know recovery is possible, often from personal experience. We enjoy hearing former clients, community members, and even our peers talk about their journey to recovery from an eating disorder. Gathering together as a community provides another level of support. It provides a forum that is safe, inspiring, and powerful.
The Emily Program-Spokane is hosting a Recovery Night on August 10th at 6:30 p.m.
Our former client, Kayla will be sharing her story of recovery from Anorexia on August 10th. Kayla has worked hard to achieve freedom from the obsession with food and weight that controlled her life for many years. Kayla will share how early trauma and adversity contributed to her struggle, but with help and support from caring people in her life, she is now living a life free of her eating disorder. Kayla is married and working on her PhD at the University of Oregon. Come and hear her amazing and uplifting story.
Recovery Night is free and open to the public. It takes place in a casual setting in the lobby of The Emily Program on the South Hill. Please join us and bring a friend.
