At The Emily Program, we are always determining what type of services are needed and/or going to be most helpful for our clients' recovery. Recently we have expanded our intensive programs in Woodbury and St. Paul, MN to adapt to our clients' needs.

Adolescent Binge Eating Disorder (BED) Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Now Available in Woodbury, MN

Our Adolescent BED intensive program provides 3 night/week, 3 hour/night programming and structured support to individuals when they either step down from 24/7 residential care or need more support than offered in outpatient treatment alone. Adolescent Intensive Program requires parent attendance 2 nights per week.

Adolescent BED Intensive Programming includes:

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Psychoeducation groups
  • Therapeutic meals
  • Nutritional counseling
  • Medical monitoring
  • Family component
  • Integrative interventions: yoga therapy

Throughout Adolescent BED IOP individuals are able to build their recovery skills while under structured supervision and at home.

Integrated Eating Disorder and Substance Use Disorder (ED/SUD) Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Now Available in St. Paul, MN

Our trauma informed Integrated ED/SUD IOP is held at our 2265 Como Ave location from 8-11:30 a.m. Tuesday-Friday each week and includes psychoeducation, skills-based group therapy, therapeutic meals, and individual support.

This intensive program is open to adult clients who have been diagnosed with an eating disorder and substance use disorder. Programming will help individuals build the skills they need to change behavior. Our providers are able to also facilitate each client's relationship with mutual peer support, 12-step meetings, sponsorship, peer coaching, work with sober housing, etc. as desired on an individual basis. Skills learned throughout programming can be practiced in real life situations, ultimately providing individuals the ability to begin to cope in more productive and healthy ways.
