Ask Emily Blog Image

A parent wrote to ask how to be supportive of their son who is dealing with an eating disorder. Dr. Jillian Lampert tackles the tough question about how to deal with the feeling of "walking on eggshells."

Watch the video to hear the advice Dr. Lampert gives this parent.

Part of this journey is simply to continue to be a supportive parent, and know that you are doing what is best for your child. That said, being the support person to a loved one can be difficult. Throughout your loved one's journey to recovery, it's important for you to get support for yourself too.
